Jesse Owens grew up in a time of descrimanation and racial segregation was going on.In college Jesse had to stay in a dorm off the campus just because he was black it did not matter if he was a track star.He had to eat in an all black resturant or he will get kicked out.Even if he was the best track athlete he was not able to get a scholarship just because he was black.In the 1936 Olympics he walked into hostile enviorment.The Olympics was held in Berlin,Germeny.Adolf Hitler was the leader of Germany and the Nazi movement.He tried to use the olympic games to prove that Germans were the best.

Jesse Owens was a great role model.If it was not for Jesse Owens we would not have most of the things we have today.Jesse Owens changed the rights of the Nazi Soldoers.Jesse Owens Never Got upset for anything.

I think that Jesse Owens is a good role model.He never let anything upset him.He suceeded on what he did and didnt care what people said.The reason I choose Jesse Owens because he is a great athlete
